Bolero Weekly Progress - 22 Mar 08

I will pretty much talk about this project with anyone who will listen and some people that don't really want to. Often, and I really mean alway, I am asked, couldn't you have found someone closer to do this work?. Well it is impossible to explain in words but I see the explanation every week when I re-review the weekly logs. Tim's passion, skill and attention to detail are especially evident this week as he laid out and built the coamings /cabin sides and aft bulkhead.

Tim also chimed in about my picture count. He says that he only posts maybe 1/3 of the pictures he takes which makes this total even more amazing.

Project Stats
Total Hours - 272.50
Total Photos - 926

Hey, don't stop being boat obsessed! If you did, the rest of us wouldn't have any company and might start to do normal-people things.

I've really enjoyed following your project here and on Tim's site. While I'm a bit wistful that a one-design boat is being lost, your project is being handled so well I just have to like it.

Regarding Tim's work, I'm really impressed. It takes a lot of experience to do this kind of work well, and (this is what most of us in the industry lack) a good work ethic to stay that organized and document everything so well.

Kristian,

Somehow I don't think you need company to maintain your boat obsession. Things are looking up on your rebuild, http://www.shields88.blogspot.com/.

You are right about Tim. He his the heart & soul of this project.
